World Duchenne Awareness Day (WDAD) is celebrated across the globe to raise awareness about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic disorder. This day is celebrated every year on the 7th of September where different people come together forming a global community in order to find a cure for this disorder and to help kids and their parents to contribute effectively towards a brighter day. This year of 2017 marks the year of Dreams. There has been a global effort to understand the dreams of these kids and to help them achieve it. To support this beautiful event, for the third year in a row World Duchenne Awareness Day is celebrated under the high patronage of the European parliament. We sincerely thank and are immensely grateful towards the global community which works for these kids, the parent groups, the doctors, the researchers, the United Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and Action Duchenne (Parent Project UK). Let’s pray for the brighter day and work for it everyday
